About me

Frank French: President of the Project Management Institute, Frankfurt Germany Chapter; Senior Management Consultant with REALTECH AG; Professor of Information Technology and Project Management with the University of Maryland University College Europe; and co-founder of the I-Sparks Open Innovation Portal. Frank has over fifteen years international experience helping organizations achieve their business goals through successful projects. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute, and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium. He holds a Master of Science in Information and Telecommunication Systems from the Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from the Florida Atlantic University.
Franks expertise is in bringing the business together with technology in a synergistic and win-win solution. He has extensive management experience in controlling organizations and global projects of all sizes. He has performed as a Financial Controller of computing gaming corporation, senior project manager on mega IT projects worth over €350 million. He was also instrumental in establishing several new companies and project management offices and has served in Program and Portfolio Manager positions with responsibilities for over €200 million annually in expenditures.
Frank lives in Heidelberg, Germany with his wonderful wife and two very mischievous daughters. Whenever he gets any spare time, he loves to go fly-fishing and tinker with his old-timer automobiles.
