A senior professional with more than 15 years international consultancy and project management experience leading multi-million business and technology strategic change programmes in the public and private sector, with globally recognised industry specific skills in oil and gas, IT, media, broadcasting and aviation. Highly successful in building relationships to manage complex business issues, as well as articulating strategy into tangible deliverables through business change programmes.
Natalie has worked for a number of government and private organisations in the UK, US, Europe and Africa including Halliburton Energy Services, and the BBC until joining Emirates Airline in 2006 where she established the corporate Programme Management Office, responsible for reinforcing the operation of best practice project and programme management standards across the Emirates Group. Natalie was an early adopter of agile project management techniques, which she successfully used in building capability of project portfolio governance, and project / programme delivery. Natalie is now responsible for driving business performance improvement projects for divisions and business units across the airline, with a specific focus on developing long term business plans in line with strategy set by the Presidents.
Key programmes delivered
Enterprise Safety Data System: Programme Manager for the development and implementation of an enterprise safety data system, the first of its kind integrating reactive, proactive and predictive safety functions into a single platform, made available across an entire group of staff (40,000+) within an 18 month timeframe.
Corporate Project Portfolio Tool: Programme Manager for the development and implementation of a corporate project portfolio reporting application that provided business units with visibility of all project work underway, and information to support decisions on project selection , prioritisation, resource allocation, and budgets. The application is used by over 15 business units, with more 1,000 users and a register of 1,500 active projects.
Crew Terminal: Programme Manager for operational readiness of a new crew terminal, revolutionising crew briefing processes by integrating multiple services and technology to optimise efficiency and to cater for significant growth of cabin and flight crew. The purpose built terminal was 5 years in the making with a capacity for over 800 flights a day and 3 million crew movements a year.
Media Commissioning and Scheduling System: Project Manager for implementation of a single integrated system for commissioning and scheduling of broadcast transmission material, which resulted in significant cost savings, process efficiencies and improved customer service levels.
SAP: Change management leader for the largest global implementation of SAP (derived USD 152 million annual benefits), with specific deployments based in Europe and Africa region with over 1,500 end users in 30 countries within one year.
